It's not spring yet, but I REEEAAALLLY want it to be!

We have sun here, but I have plenty of friends and family buried under snow. Here's a fun little reminder that there's something beautiful brewing there, beneath the ice.

There are new lambies in the UGA fields, and I have new plaid tennis shoes, so we all know that means spring will soon be afoot!

Long Distance Wishes

We moved to Georgia in just the last year, so I'm slooowly making friends in our new town, while I miss family and friends all over the place. Moving was quite an experience, and I'd just as never do that again, unless it can be this simple.

Didn't we all think moving would be fun when we were little? Your favorite doll and books in a pillowcase - done! Echoes of The Boxcar Children, I think. I couldn't get enough of that book and the way they set up the boxcar as their house. Pretty sure I wanted to be Violet.

O Joy!

A worry has been lifted, and I just feel like singing. But I wouldn't do that to anyone, so here's the next best thing.

Hope you lose a worry, or just have a happy week!

Today's Random Interwebs CRAVE

I found this today, playing in the antiques list of craigslist. Note: I don't refinish furniture, or upholster chairs, or need one, for that matter. But this chair looks like it could be the most comfortable thing when completed, and how cool would it look in that corner of my living room.

At this point, it's mentally redone with amazing fabric, and stunning everyone into OOOOOHs when they walk in the door.

Don't you just love possibilities like this?

Love this Link!

I have no girls, but the ideas and photos just inspire me!

A Happy Heart Day!

I rebelled against all things Pokemon/Avatar/Spongebob for Valentine's Day this year. Having boys can really limit your options if you don't want to drop dollars on overmarketed characters.

This little guy is Bred Hed Bot. I doodled him last year and the boys fell all over themselves creating their own versions of 'Bots'. I still find the doodles in bookbags and old sketchbooks. Anything can be a bot (TeeVee Bot, ToeBot, you name it). The only thing they don't like is the idea of wearing a tshirt with this guy on it - they're too old already. Sigh.

So, I hope you and yours have a Happy Heart Week!
